Dr. Lora Kewallal is a native of Toronto, Canada. She received her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science from University of South Florida in Tampa and went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor. While in dental school, she enjoyed volunteering with the pediatric dental team at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital and the Special Olympics.
Following dental school, Dr. Lora practiced as a general dentist in Tennessee treating children, adolescents, and adults. During this time she found it incredibly rewarding treating pediatric patients and this affirmed her decision to specialize in pediatric dentistry. She completed her advanced training in pediatric dentistry with NYU Langone Hospitals in Nashville.
In her spare time, Dr. Lora enjoys spending time reading at the Nashville Public Library, participating in the seed exchange, and fostering animals with the Nashville Humane Association. She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, American Dental Association, and Tennessee Dental Association. Dr. Lora looks forward to providing all-encompassing pediatric dental care to children and adolescents while building trust and developing long-term relationships with patients and their parents.
