“Food from the heart.” This is the trademark of Café Rakka, a restaurant located at 71A New Shackle Island Rd in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
This trademark proves true as Café Rakka’s menus are made fresh from scratch every day and are crafted with love.
Voted Nashville’s Best Mediterranean Restaurant, Café Rakka is a family-owned restaurant that follows the mantra “Live fresh. Eat fresh,” which Executive Chef Riyad Al-Kasem (aka Chef Rakka) says has become the core mission of the restaurant.
“Everything we serve is made fresh daily, using the world’s finest herbs, spices and ingredients.
Our hummus, yogurt and even our cheeses are prepared from scratch, using recipes that date back generations to the ‘Fertile Crescent,’ known as the cradle of civilization,” Chef Rakka proudly shares.
All menu items of Cafe Rakka do not contain MSG and are prepared solely with olive oil, following its mantra of living and eating fresh.
The Rakka family is a renowned cheese, butter and yogurt makers in Syria for more than five generations and along with his family’s tradition, Chef Rakka learned the importance of using fresh and natural ingredients.
Café Rakka serves fresh and delicious meals for lunch and dinner including snacks and desserts paired with cold and hot drinks.
Café Rakka is open Mondays to Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. for lunch and from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. for dinner.
